Dream11 Fantasy Team

Wicketkeepers

Our keepers are Simpson and Smith. Simpson has had several good starts, though he has only converted one (when he scored 95 against Leicester in May). In Foakes’s absence, Smith will keep wickets for Surrey and that is good news as he will add points behind the stumps to his batting value which has been proven with innings of 123 against Leicester and 78 against Hants.

Batsmenp>Robson, Stoneman, Amla, White, and Gubbins are our five batsmen. Robson has been Middlesex’s best batsman by a country mile, with brilliant innings of 165 versus Somerset and 95 against Surrey as evidence of his talent. Stoneman had a hundred against Leicester while Amla made 215 against Hants. Another 173 against Gloucester only confirmed our belief in Amla’s class. White has had four near-hundreds, a bright spot in a Middlesex top order that has not always delighted. Gubbins has had starts on nearly every visit to the crease and is due for a big one.

Al

All-Rounders

trong>Andersson has scored runs and taken wickets consistently for Middlesex, earning him our lone all-rounder spot.

Bow

Bowlers

tagh, Bamber, and Virdi take our three bowling spots. Murtagh’s tally of 17 wickets in his first four county games was a sign of things to come. His most impressive showing was his scalping of seven wickets versus Somerset. Bamber has been no less impressive with 14 wickets in his first four matches, highlighted by a return of 3/24 versus Somerset. Surrey’s Virdi has brought spin back into the limelight, with 14 wickets in his initial four games, including figures of 6/171 versus Leicester. He also took 4/96 and 3/46 in the match against Gloucester.
