Both Bhanuka and Klaasen are in my team. Bhanuka showed glimpses of his ability in the ODI series that preceded this one. Klaasen also displayed good consistency in the first two matches, with scores of 36 and 43. Both these batsmen are flamboyant stroke makers playing at the top of the order, making them ideal T20I players.

Batsmen

Avishka Fernando and Asalanka have recovered their best form in the ODI series. Fernando scored a brilliant ton in the first match. With a couple of seventies, Asalanka was not far behind. Van der Dussen’s form in the first ODI must have been heartwarming sight for South Africa fans, ahead of the world cup.  Another plus for SA was Markram who scored 96 in the first game.
