LastLast SA vs Pak Match at Centurion
ong>SA and Pakistan last played at Centurion Park on 25 January 2019. Pakistan batted first and posted 317/6 in their allotted overs, thanks largely to a ton by opener Imam-ul-Haq (101 off 116 balls). Haq was supported by Babar Azam (69), Md Hafeez (52), Shoaib Malik (31), and Imad Wasim (43). Barring Dale Steyn (2/43) and Rabada (2/57), the other SA bowlers did not pose much of a challenge for the Pakistan batsmen. When SA replied, they lost both their openers, De Kock (33) and Amla (25) relatively early to reduce the hosts to 79 for 2 in the 15th over. But SA staged a revival on the back of unbeaten knocks by Reeza Hendricks (83) and Du Plessis (40) to finish at 187/2 in 33 overs in a rain-curtailed game. SA were declared winners by 13 runs, using the D/L method.
