Glenton Stuurman
Glenton Stuurman was born on 10 August 1992 in Oudtshoorn, South Africa. In 2016, South Western Districts included him in their squad for the Africa T20 Cup. He was the highest wicket-taker for this team in the 2017-18 edition of the CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge tournament with 12 scalps in 5 games.

Biography
In September 2018, Eastern Province picked Stuurman in their squad for the Africa T20 Cup. He topped the wicket tally in the 2018-19 edition of the CSA 3-Day Provincial Cup, bagging 39 wickets in 8 matches.
In November 2020, South Africa named Stuurman in their squad for a limited-overs series versus England. In December 2020, he was picked in the national squad for a Test series versus Sri Lanka. In January 2021, Stuurman was selected in South Africa’s T20I squad for a series versus Pakistan.
Stuurman earned the international call-ups because of his excellent performances in domestic matches. In the 2016-17 season, he had the third-highest wicket tally for South Western Districts. As mentioned earlier, he bagged the most number of wickets in the 2018-19 CSA 3-Day Provincial competition.
These consistent performances earned Stuurman a contract with the Warriors franchise which is based in the more seamer-friendly Port Elizabeth. The bowler worked hard to boost his conditioning, improved his ability to bowl fast and became a Warriors regular. He bagged 18 scalps in first-class cricket in 6 games last season.
Stuurman can move deliveries off the seam and is lethal with the new cherry. Experts think he has the talent to replace Vernon Philander, who has retired. Stuurman thus bids fair to play for South Africa soon in international cricket.
