Mumbai Indians vs Chennai Super Kings Match Details
In this article, we present our Dream11 team prediction for Mumbai Indians vs Chennai Super Kings, match 27 of the IPL 2021to be played in Delhi on 1 May.
Team Mumbai Indians Report
MI are likely to stick with the team that played against PBKS on 23 April: De Kock, Sharma, Kishan, S Yadav, Pollard, H Pandya, K Pandya, J Yadav, R Chahar, Bumrah, Boult.
Team Chennai Super Kings Report
CSK are unlikely to make changes to the eleven that did duty against SRH on 28 April: Gaikwad, Du Plessis, Moeen Ali, Jadeja, Raina, Rayudu, Dhoni, Curran, Thakur, D Chahar, Ngidi.
Dream11 Fantasy Team
Wicket-keepers
We have gone with the two best wicket-keeper-batsman candidates, De Kock and Ishaan Kishan, both of whom have been in good batting form this season.
Batsmen
Sharma, Raina and Suryakumar Yadav are automatic choices for our batting spots. On the back of his match-winning innings against SRH on 28 April, we have given the 4th spot to Ruturaj Gaikwad who has repaid the faith the CSK selectors put in him.
All-rounders
Jadeja and Curran simply walk into our Dream11 as all-rounders. In a normal year, they would have to fight hard with the likes of Hardik, Krunal and Pollard. But this is not a normal year. Hardik does not bowl at all, while Pollard has been less than impressive with the bat. Krunal does not match up with either Curran or Jadeja in any department.
Bowlers
Bumrah and Boult would be natural choices in any T20 team of the world. For our third bowling spot, we considered several players from both teams and finally settled for R Chahar who is arguably the most improved young Indian bowler of the last year or so. Chahar’s newfound confidence on the back of his selection to play for India is reflected in his wicket-taking exploits this IPL season.
Our Dream11 prediction is as follows: De Kock (v-c), Ishaan Kishan, Sharma, Raina, Suryakumar Yadav, Gaikwad, Jadeja (c), Curran, Bumrah, Boult, R Chahar.
