When Pandya got out in the 17th over, the MI scorecard read 170/4, with 49 runs more needed in 24 balls. But CSK had not reckoned with Pollard who got them across the line on the last ball of the game, by scoring 87 from 34 balls with six fours and eight sixes. For Chennai, Sam Curran who took 3 for 34 was Chennai’s best bowler.
