KXIP’s Tye took 24 wickets in 14 games at 18.66 with the best bowling figures of 4/16, an economy rate of 8.00 and a strike rate of 14.00. In a home game against CSK held on 15 April, Tye took 2/19 to restrict the visitors to 193/7 while chasing a target of 198. His 2/23 in a home game against Sunrisers Hyderabad played on 12 April helped restrict the visitors to 178/4, ensuring a 15-run win for KXIP.
